The Solar System Ambassadors program is composed of over 1,000 volunteers who host public STEM outreach events. The program is run by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and ambassadors typically host outreach sessions with content provided directly from JPL.  I have been a Solar System Ambassador since January 2020. So far I have hosted events about the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover with the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club (NOVAC), University of Maryland A. James Clark School of Engineering, and Lake Braddock Secondary School.
Here is a link to the recorded outreach event I hosted with NOVAC.

Interested in working for NASA? Internships for undergraduate and graduate students are offered year round at NASA centers across the country. Students can apply for internships here: https://intern.nasa.gov/
The most inspiring people I've met in my career so far have been NASA scientists and engineers. They have helped shape who I am today and have enabled me to work on real exciting space technologies in use today! Perhaps the most valuable asset NASA internships offer is the camaraderie among the intern community - some of my best friends have been made during my NASA internships! Feel free to contact me with any questions about how to apply or for more information.
